Fergal McEvoy (button accordion)
Fergal is from Termonfeckin, Co. Louth and started playing the accordion at a very young age. His first teacher was John Canny from Co. Clare and he was also thought by Rory Kennedy from Dundalk.
Fergal features in many session in the North East. Music has taken Fergal to many countries including the US, Italy, Germany, Switerland and the UK.
Mairéad Gaffney (flute)
Mairéad started traditional music on the tin whistle and then at the young age of 10 moved on to the flute. Brian Collins, her first music teacher, taught her in her local primary school. Mairéad was also thought by Peig Needham and Kay Webster. Mairéad also teaches the flute.
Niamh McEvoy (keyboard)
Niamh like many others started playing Irish music on the tin whistle but moved on to playing the accordion and also like Fergal was thought by John Canny and Rory Kennedy but the flute sound was more enticing. Niamh started off in the band playing the flute, and then moved on to the keyboard.
David Needham (drums)
David is from Dundalk, Co. Louth and from a very musical family. David's first instrument was the concertina and played drums for competition bands. His rythmic drumming keeps all the dancers in order.
